Barbara has many years of oil industry experience, having worked as a technical professional and manager of technical functions, as an adult educator and initiator of major technical and business training technology transfer programs for oil companies in Canada and in developing countries around the world, and as a senior manager in the area of Human Resources.
After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in Mathematics and Education, Barbara taught at the high school level in Saskatoon for four years before moving into the industry in Calgary. She has a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Calgary and an extensive technical background developed through academic study and practical experience. At her current point in life she is using the experience she has gained to assist industry personnel in the development of the skills and knowledge they need to be successful.
