Jim started working in the oil and gas industry in 1968. He has experience in operations, maintenance and field construction. He gained experience in High Pressure Sour Gas, Sweet Gas, Oil, Pipelines and Refrigeration Gas Plants while working in Edson, Fox Creek, Central Alberta and Calgary.
During the time working for Crestar Energy in Eckville, Jim was the Eckville Operating Centre Superintendent, and later at the head office in Calgary, the Director of Production. He presently is working as a Consultant to Keyera as a Training Coordinator.
Jim holds an Interprovincial Journeyman Millwrights Ticket. He currently sits on the Executive Sub Committee of WCSS.
