John has a varied background including stints as a highway surveyor,
an environmental consultant and a technical editor. He spent 13 years
in the Air Quality Monitoring Department of Western Research &
Development and over 22 years with SAIT as a technical editor as a
member of the Curriculum Development and Distance Education teams in
the Power Engineering and Energy Departments. He was instrumental in
the development of SAIT's SOLIS training system.
John received a Bachelor of Science degreee in Physical Geography from
the University of Calgary. He is presently the owner of Glenleven
Edits, providing technical editing services to the Oil & Gas and Power
Engineering industries.
