Ron has 23 years of operation and supervisory experience in both sweet and sour gas plants, oil production facilities, refinery and LNG plants/trains in Alberta and overseas. He also has experience in plant turnaround planning and coordination as well as new plant and LNG train pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup. Along with Ron’s oil and gas industry experience, he has 10 years experience in oil and gas training as a technical college instructor/teacher, training program developer, and training coordinator both in Canada and overseas.
Ron holds an Alberta First Class Power Engineering Qualification and a postgraduate Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Alberta. He also has completed programs in Industrial Instrumentation and Power Engineering at SAIT and Gas Plant Technology at NAIT.
