Course Description:
This two-day course prepares individuals to conduct competency validations for the employees within their respective companies.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
Understand the role of the Validator within the Competency Management and Development System (CMDS); ;
Describe challenges in implementing the validation process;
Describe how learning styles affects validations;
Describe how a learning model is used to develop the CMDS;
List adult learning principles and how they need to be considered in validations;
Describe ways of providing constructive feedback to individuals to enhance behavior change;
List the principles of evidence;
Use evaluation tools to validate knowledge and skills;
Record and submit validations on the CMDS system. .
