Managing the Control of Hazardous Energy II

The purpose of this module is to provide guidance to workers and discuss their responsibilities in the isolation of hazardous energy under pressure to conform to current legislation. This module will provide in-depth coverage of the isolation of piping, pressure vessels and pigging.

At the conclusion of this module you will be able to:

1. Discuss legislation that applies to managing the control of hazardous energy.
2. Discuss the isolation of piping.
3. Discuss the use blinds and blanks.
4. Describe single valve isolation.
5. Discuss double block and bleed vs double isolation and bleed.
6. Discuss the use of isolation lists and blind lists

Each module has a 10 question quiz that will test the readers understanding of the topics covered. The quizzes are made up of multiple choice and True/False questions. A 90% or higher is required to receive a passing grade.
