COVID-19 Energy Safety Canada Update
All Energy Safety Canada locations will be temporarily closed to the public until further notice effective Monday, March 23, 2020.
In recognition that this office closure will prevent some workers from being able to take courses to renew their certificates, Energy Safety Canada will be offering a certificate extension for the following courses:
- H2S Alive
- First Line Supervisor Blowout Prevention
- Second Line Supervisors Well Control
- Well Service Blowout Prevention
- Coiled Tubing Well Service Blowout Prevention
- Detection and Control
- Oilfield Driver Awareness
- OSSA Fall Protection
- OSSA Confined Space
- OSSA Elevated Work Platform
For these courses, any Certificate of Completion previously issued by Energy Safety Canada that has an expiry date between January 1, 2020 and September 1, 2020 will be deemed by Energy Safety Canada to have not expired and will remain valid up to and including September 1, 2020.
We understand that for many of our end-users this means the dates in CMDS are no longer valid, and you may receive expiry notifications for tickets for which the extension applies. Please contact your local administrator to have the dates corrected. Administrators if you require assistance updating these dates please contact your account manager or email admin_cmds@keyera.com.
Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding.
