August 2015 Update to CMDS eLearning

On August 3, 2015 the CMDS eLearning platform will be updated.

Users can look forward to a much more streamlined layout, which is simpler and more mobile-friendly.

Notable improvements include:

• Added navigation bar across the top
• A improved printer friendly view for each module - accessible by clicking File, Print when viewing a module
• View drop down created - allowing users to customize their view of the available eLearning content

Important to remember:

• A Learning Activity is a module.
• Each Learning Activity is grouped by Category/Label.
• You can customize your view so you are only seeing the Learning Activities contained in a specific Category.
• CMDS eLearning currently offers one full course, the Fired Process Heater Operator course. This is classified as a Program.
• All of the Learning Activities in the Fired Process Heater Operator course area available under their appropriate Categories/Labels.
• To view only the Fired Process Heater Operator course content, in order, users are to use the View dropdown changing the Filter Activities to "Group by Program" and pressing enter.
• As before, a user can attempt a quiz only 3 times before being locked out for a 24 hour time period.
• Viewing a quiz counts as an attempt.
• Previously completed eLearning modules will not be lost following the update - always refer back to your Education and Training in CMDS for a complete list of completed eLearning.
