1. System Features

YES - CMDS can be used to track and monitor all required training, not limited to competency tracking, CMDS incorporates tracking of Safety Certification, required sign-offs on company specific documentation, HR requirements, and role-specific training guides.

NO - CMDS has a large existing competency library from which companies can customize job role profiles. The competency library is continually growing and organizations have the advantage of sharing industry best practices.

NOTHING - CMDS is web-based and requires no installation of any software. It can be accessed anywhere there is an internet connection, anytime, and on any device.

YES - Once setup, CMDS is managed internally. The organization is given the tools and the training to administer CMDS in-house. This allows CMDS to remain up-to-date and accurate.

YES - All company specific documentation that is loaded into CMDS can only be accessed by the company that entered/owns the information. User access is limited by role, as well as organization, making all data private and secure.

New companies are required to pay a one-time setup fee of $2,000, along with the following annual fees:

  • 1-15 Users: $7,500/year

  • 1-400 Users: $500/user/year

  • >400 Users: $450/user/year

Individual contractors working with one or more companies can join CMDS as members for an annual fee of $750.

Validator training sessions are typically held once a month online via Microsoft Teams. Each session is a one-day event, running from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

YES - CMDS offers fully customizable email notifications on all training requirements.

NO - Access to all eLearning is included in the user price. Users can enroll in as many modules as they choose.

Timelines greatly depend on the specific organization. Factors like the organization's size, training needs, nature of operations, personal, and existing time commitments can greatly affect the time it takes to implement CMDS.
